I HAVE SEEN THE KRAKEN, AND IT WAS GOOD! lol

The second trailer was posted on Youtube and then yanked off this morning by the studio, and it KICKED ARSE!!!

"RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!" Wooooo!

And believe it or not, it's not just a giant octopus/squid creature like the myth tells (and I figured they would make it as in the film)...but a giant, slightly anthropomorphic creature that KIND OF resembles the original movie's beast, yet has a look all it's own as well! This may actually please some of you guys, but then...that might take a Christmas miracle as well. :P

If I pretend it's a different movie and not Clash of the Titans then I get excited watching this trailer...looks like a feast of monster and the Krakken while not Harryhausen's exact design does borrow alot of the body elements from his design while putting a new (someone what Clover inspired) head on its shoulders

Medusa looks alot like Harryhausen's design

WOW.

This trailer is WAY better than the first - I'm doubly excited now! Also: Liam Neeson is Zeus?! That's fantastic casting, IMO - while Liam isn't Laurence Olivier, he'll still bring something special to this (I can't think of a single performance by him I've disliked).

I am glad the Kraken doesn't look terrible. Although I can see the guy being Clover's great-grand uncle.

I went for cursing the filmmakers for even considering remaking this movie to actually looking forward to it. But I still think the new story is junk and Neeson looks to young and WAY too battle prepared to play Zeus.

Perhaps they saw Milika Sherawatt in the new "Hisss" film with her sexy/scary snake woman and were inspired by that? Who knows?
