and nobody had ever seen a "lifelike" Godzilla before and we ALL know how that turned out...


not that I'm passing any sort of judgment on this film yet...IN GENERAL, i don't do that...though i could tell without ever seeing it that 2012 is a terrible movie...

They are NOT butchering a classic. Butchering a classic means they would be cutting footage out of the original and releasing it. This is not butchering, it is just a different view. And some of you act as if the original Clash was the greatest movie ever made. It is a damn good movie, but honestly, once you get past Harry's special effects, the movie's acting and plot is just as terrible as Transformers, so why should it matter how the remake turns out? In all honesty, I am going to see this for the same reasons I love the original, the effects, Medusa, the mythology, etc. I am not going into it for its acting and plot, I am going into it to have a good time. Nothing more, nothing less.
