ThanksKilling - Gobble, Gobble Motherf------!

ThanksKilling is a new(ish) movie that is going to be released on DVD on November 17.

I say new(ish) because it was actually finished in 2008, and the creators then tried (in vain) to find a distributor before deciding to just release it themselves.

It's ultra-low-budget ($3,500 and shot in 14 days) and is about a Fowl-mouthed (badoom ching! get it?! "fowl" mouth?!?! hardee har har!) Turkey that goes around killing teenagers!

There's a shortage of Thanksgiving-themed horror out there (even some of the ones that claim to be have only VERY minor connections to the holiday itself) so I say BRING IT ON!

seems like a good party movie to do with drinking games (every time you see the boom mike, take a drink...every time you see the turkey's puppeteer, take a drink) or just a laugh-out-loud god-awful movie

the only thing that's setting me up to be disappointed is that the characters seem to be VERY cookie-cutter and not in the least bit original at all (though if that's the POINT it could work).

Gills.

I have posted a full review of the film

There are some spoilers, but I left the ending largely spoiler-free.
