I finished Japan Sinks. A great read, especially toward the end when the whole situation comes to a head, but the ending really threw me. I feel kind of dumb for not "getting it," but...I don't. Could someone possibly illuminate me on the bizarre pronouncement made by the old man and the whole last bit about the "wife?"

The Fog Horn, a short story by Ray Bradbury in his book, The Golden Apples of the Sun. I rented it from Glendale Library after hearing it might get a release. I didn't get to finish it, I mean it is like 16 pages long, but I had to stop to eat dinner, :lol:

I'll get to finishing it today! :D

I just picked up a book called Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. Its the classic Jane Austin novel from 1812 but with gigantic Octopus, Sea Serpents, giant killer crabs, and giant human eating Jellyfish. This was the follow up to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
