The best one to me has to be either Mothra vs Godzilla or Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster. Probably Ghidorah more because its much memorable than the Mothra vs Godzilla score to me.

It's a tough decision between Mothra Vs. Godzilla and Monster Zero. I've always liked MZ's score and find the rousing marches to be the best in the series.

Mothra Vs. Godzilla, however, seemed to have a bit more of a variety in the tunes. But the rousing tunes of MZ end up putting it over the top for me.

Mothra vs. Godzilla for me! I think the song that manages to win me over in that decision is "Godzilla and Nagoya". However, Ghidrah, The Three-Headed Monster follows closely behind as it has some of my favorites as well.

It's almost a tie between Mothra vs. Godzilla and Monster Zero,
but I'll go with MZ.

For me, it's a tie between Mothra Vs. Godzilla and Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster, both great scores!

Mothra vs Godzilla has to be the one that I would have to select. Not that the other choices on the list are bad mind you, they're also very well done.

I would have to say Ifukube's soundtrack to Mothra vs. Godzilla is probably his "best", with Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster and Monster Zero being very close behind. However, if I had to pick my personal favorite, it would have to be Monster Zero, by far. I love the "Electromagnetic Capsule" theme used in the intro to the U.S. version, and all of the themes in the film are fantastic, and IMO some of the best in the entire series.

Grr...this is definitely a tough choice. I can't really choose just one. While I know I'm in the minority here, I find "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster" to be one of Ifukube's all-time weakest scores. Not that it's terrible, mind you, but it just seems to pale in comparison with the rest of his work. The others are all fantastic, but as for the best score overall, for me it's a toss-up between "Mothra vs. Godzilla" and "Monster Zero," with "Destroy All Monsters" and "King Kong vs. Godzilla" not too far behind.

Mothra vs. Godzilla for me. I love how Mothra and Godzilla have their own distinct (and very memorable) themes which weave together flawlessly once the monsters are in the same scene together.

All of these are fantastic scores though.
