Wow. A fantastic sculpt absolutely ruined by the horrible, horrible, horrible pose.

This looks like it could have been a 4 star figure. Look at the attention to detail on the attempt to make the body look like the rubber suit. That's very cool. But those arms. What the "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" were they thinking with those arms??

Kain, can we get some full-body shots from some other angles?

It makes sense that they are starting to be found now. I first found wave 4 in September. It is the beginning of the 4th quarter. That listing for December was probably an estimated in stock date for what ever store it was from, as suggested in an earlier thread. I checked out my K mart and TRU closest to me over the weekend and found nothing but the older figures. Those stores will be my best bet. I do not think Target would start getting these. TRU has the 6" priced at $10.99. That's more then what KBs regular price was if I remember correctly. Oh well, I will still buy them. I am a sucker for 54 figures so I will be buying that figure no matter what it looks like. Yes that arm pose on the MG is horrible. It makes sense though since it seems as if they pose the figures to fit that packaging scheme. Just like all the bent tails and everything. Maybe if the arms were bent out in front they would not fit the packaging the way they want them too.

Bandai Creation is the Classic Media of Godzilla toy companies. You hope and hope and hope for something cool that will blow you away. In the end what you get shows so much promise and potential but falls short of expectations.

There's no excuse for the way those arms look. They have to be posed that way in order for the figure to fit in the packaging? Come on, that's just pathetic. That MG looks like it's saying, "Hey guy! Here I am? Am I late for the party? Whassup!!". This could have been a really cool supplement to the 6" Bandai Japan line since it's something completely unique to the BC series.

If the packaging is that much of a hindrance to the sculpting of these toys (as the crummy tails of the G2K and '68 Godzillas and Hedora clearly show) then here's a good idea: change the damn packaging!

I think you guys are going about this all wrong. If it's a crappy figure, why buy it? That's sending the wrong message to Bandai America. You should be emailing them and complaining about the crappy arm posture, not buying it and then thinking up ways to mod it. Screw that.

I myself already have the 6 inch Mechagodzilla released in Japan from a few years ago, so I'll be setting this one out. Really I want some new characters man, not the same stuff over and over. It's not like they don't have characters that haven't been released yet.
