Ok, so over the course of 20+ pages we've discussed this potential Godzilla's size, weight, whether the film should be long or short, whether it should be dark or brooding, hell we've even thrown Batman in the mix...In other words we've covered almost everything.
But what about politics?
As we all know the Godzilla movies are known for both their symbolism and their out and out political commentary. And in my opinion the series goes both right (pro-military, suspicious of unregulated science) and left (environmentalist, wary of capitalism, generally pacifist).
So should the potential new movie be overtly political (The Day After Tomorrow) or subtley poltical (TDK)? Or should it be none of the above and just be a neutral, politics-free Godzilla flick? Is that even possible?
