Well I'm really miffed about the covers and the dubtitles, but the picture does look great, the commentaries sound awesome (I'd love to hear some words from Robert Dunham), and, fact is, you can't pass up having all three of these on DVD, Japanese and U.S. edits. Definitely gonna go out and get it; I've never seen Battle in Outer Space or the H-Man.
...but damn, those covers. I can whip up some custom covers, but the ugly menus will still taint the presentation. Ah well. Doesn't bug me as much as the dubtitles.

Eh, I don't care about the packaging, and a pair of audio commentaries are more special features than I expected from Sony in the first place. The only major flaw to me is the dubtitles on Battle in Outer Space. But at least it's limited to just that film, and all of the prints featured there look great. I'll most definitely be getting this set eventually. I'll probably buy it along with Classic Media's Rodan/Gargantuas set whenever Deep Discount have their fall/winter sale.
