^ I agree with both that, while MEBIUS did a great job and reviving the Showa "timeline" (and I enjoyed both MEBIUS & BROS and SUPER 8), I'm looking forward to seeing more original series in future.

Back the the ULTRA GALAXY movie...

I saw a Japanese blog reporting on a newspaper article today, which claims there will be 50 Ultramen featured in the movie. The newspaper listed the following 18:

Ultraman
Ultra Seven
Ultraman Jack
Ultraman Ace
Ultraman Taro
Zoffy
Ultraman Mebius
Ultraman Hikari
Ultraman King
Father of Ultra
Mother of Ultra
Ultraman Leo
Astra
Ultraman 80
Yullian
Ultraman Neos
Ultra Seven 21
Ultraman Boy

The remaining 32 Ultramen are unnamed.

The last three in that list are odd... the existence of Neos and Seven 21 contradicts the entire premise of ULTRAMAN MEBIUS, unless they only exist as characters and their respective series never occured in this timeline.

Props to the new Tsuburaya logo! (Much better than the previous "flower" one, which I thought was weird.)

This looks like the 300 of the Ultra Series. It might be good.

The brief bit of Ultraman and UltraSeven fighting Belial... I can definitely see Sakamoto's Power Ranger style in there.

Please keep the giant, slow-mo explosions out of the movie, Koichi.
