I kinda liked the 90s remake of the show, but then again, I wasn't born when the original aired.

I loved the original series and never missed an episode on Saturday mornings. Of course I was 6-7 years old when it came out.

Never got interested in the 90's version.

Just in case anyone is interested...

This Memorial Day monday, Sci-Fi Channel will air an eight-hour marathon of the original 1974 Land of the Lost, from 8AM-to-4AM (ET/PT), as promotion for the upcoming Will Ferrell movie version.

I have not seen the original series for ages, but this is something that isn't aired regularly on television anymore, let alone Sci-Fi, and their constant stream of contemporary reality shows and weekly CGI-crap-taculars.

I can't believe I forgot to mention earlier.

Land of the Lost (the original series) is getting re-released onto DVD next Tuesday in a complete series set. For you're comparison shopping convenience; Amazon has the set priced at $42 and the collectors set priced at $52. Near as I can tell, the only difference in the collectors set just the classic metal lunch box bundled with the DVDs.

I still want to see it and hopefully will be pleasantly surprised too. I dunno though as I really loved the original series when I was a child. The center of sci-fi fandom on line; "io9" is raving about it saying it's "Anchorman With Aliens And Dinosaurs"!! Here's 6 new clips:

Yeah, he's pretty annoying, but that movie he's in about the ice skaters is the funniest sh*t I've seen in ages! :lol:
