I'm not surprised seeing as how Sony owns the movies. I am surprised that this is not going to make it a PS3 exclusive.

Curious has anyone here considered getting the PS3 exclusive Valkyria Chronicles? Just wondering. I'm planning on getting it tommorow. The graphical presentation in the this game is just great.

The characters and backgrounds all look like watercolour drawings come to life. As for the gameplay, already tried playing the demo. Love how you can take control of each of your soldiers in third person. The transition from aerial map view to third person mode when moving characters across the map is just awesome.....

3 PS1 games have been uploaded onto the PSN this week: Bowling (that's the name), R-Type Delta, and Spyro 2. I have been dying to play a platformer lately, so I may pick up Spyro 2.

There's a demo up for Infamous today on PSN.

And MORE PS1 classics... including Rainbow 6! :D

Just a little research to see if you can use the analog sticks or not and then that's a definite download for me...

InFamous demo is pretty awesome. Lots of fun to play. Think Crackdown meets Assassins Creed.

Well the first part of the demo is pretty confusing you have to jump down off the train tracks then find the thing that's attached to the tracks (it looks like a stop light) and shoot it with lightining. You do this about 5 different times.

Once that's done it turns into something like GTA where you find markers on the map and go to them to do the mission.

I have a feeling that the game could get pretty boring after awhile much like GTA4 did.

But like I said I plan on renting the game soon.

Remember though, I couldn't put GTAIV down at all.

I really do not like that design, let alone the lack of UMDs. I want to own a physical product when I pay for something, and having a unit that does download only is not giving me such. Not to mention I would have no way of downloading anything since I do not have Wifi access.

I'll probably get it for the MGS game, but I want to own at least a box or something.

OH yeah, lastly, that thing is going to be a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" to play, as the controls are poorly placed.

If you were to ask me, I would say that they may be releasing games on flash memory cards for those who want the physical copy.

Anyway Kain, it's not like you gotta get it if you already have a PSP. It is just a re-design. PSP Go is a good name considering it's smaller, compact, and really mean't for gaming on the go.

In my opinion there are currently two markets for handhelds: The first is what we have known for years. You have your console and you play it. You don't really take it with you out anywhere. You can, but it's a pain in the ass to carry around your Gameboy, Game Gear, PSP, DS, whatever. It's really handheld gaming from home more than anything, I think (if you're confused then think of it as nothing majorly different compared to a PS3, 360, or whatever). The second is this gaming on the go that the N-Gage tried to establish, but is now currently dominated by the iPhone. They're smaller devices that are easy to take with you to play. That's the market I think that the PSP Go is designed for. And in my opinion, that market is also made up of a lot of casual gamers. So if my idea on the two handheld markets didn't make sense, then you can swap in the now class hardcore vs casual gamer markets, because that really is what I am getting at.
