GTA has always been about pushing the limits of what could be deemed "acceptable content" in gaming. On top of that, it let you do basically whatever you wanted. While the series wasn't as crazy on the PS2 as it was on the PS1 (which had things like a lightning gun), GTA on next-gen consoles is just so tame in comparison that it's sad to see. They took what made the series so unique in the first place and stripped it down. They removed all of the crazy elements (like tanks, nutty weapons, and even gang members to fight at random) in favor of more realistic approach. To me, Rockstar neutered the GTA series with GTA 4. There are just games out there that took what made GTA fun and now do it better, one being Crackdown.

Of course it's just my opinion. It sold so many copies for a reason, but I also have my reasons for not enjoying it, never playing it after I beat it, and for selling it back so quickly.

That's kinda funny they released that. I mean they announced it a year ago when the show was on, but I don't think it's even on anymore.

What was funny I was playing with Chris55 and we where in the "mob" and some of the questions where not very family friendly questions at all and I believe last year at E3 the game was being touted as a family game.

One question we got while playing was "What female comedian said on Youtube 'I'm @($%&ing Matt Damon?" and another one Chris got was a pornstar related question.

I'm going to be playing this this weekend if I'm around it was pretty fun plus you can win prizes too which is always a plus.

Two weeks ago, my Xbox 360 gave me my first RRoD (9 days before my 3 year warranty expired). I guess I'm lucky I've dodged that problem for so long. I went online, did some very basic troubleshooting, and then set up a repair. I never had to call Microsoft at any point. I shipped it to them myself and got a replacement console back today. Although its not a Jasper chipset, nor does it have an HDMI output (my old one didn't, but I was hoping the replacement would :D), I'm amazed at how much better this one is working. I never really had any problems with my old 360, but this new one operates a lot quieter and quicker. The dashboard seems to respond quicker (the Guide is MUCH quicker), and the fans and disc drive are almost unnoticeable now.

I have to say, for as much crap as I've heard about people dealing with Microsoft for the RRoD, my experience with it wasn't that bad at all. I have a better console, never had to deal with a service representative, received a free month of Live Gold, and I even got a little extension on my warranty.

Is this the first good story you've heard about the RRoD?
