The version of MGS3 in the trilogy set is Subsistence, but it does NOT include the bonus disc that includes the MSX games.
With that said, I went on ebay and hunted down the bonus disc and manged to get it with the game itself for $30 last year. I then sold the game disc for $20 to a friend since I did have the trilogy set. The MSX games are very fun, frustrating at times, but they were worth every minute I spent on them. Solid Snake is a lot like the first MGS game, but it was still fun to play nonetheless, and I am planning to go through them again sometime this year. Both deserve an 8/10 despite how primitive they are. Not to mention you really have to use strategy to get past the guards with ease due to them being 2D. I got caught so many times, it was fun trying to figure out where to hide.
