Terror of Mechagodzilla has always been one of my Showa era favorites but not as much as Mothra Vs. Godzilla or Monster Zero. I think it's the best 1970s Godzilla film.

Sure most of the characters are fairly forgettable except maybe Katsura and the head alien but the actors do give out pretty good performances. We finally get some miniatures back into the films and some really entertaining kaiju battles; not to mention a cool new kaiju in Titanosaurus.

A fun film indeed! :D
