Ehh... not quite sure what I think of the new Gomora suit. But that's not important right now.

HOLY CRAP GOMESS! That's awesome. I wonder if this means that a Jirass appearance is at all possible? :D

Also, I wonder what they'll do with Reimon and EX-Gomora, and if/how Ultraman will show up again?

I've never been big on Jirass. I understand why he was made and he's very novel in that context but as a unique and interesting kaiju Gomess is so much more awesome.

Oh, I know. I just think it'd be neat to see Gomora vs. "Godzilla." :P

Awesome poster! My thoughts:

1) Gomora looks much better on that poster than he did in the pictures with Gomess and Magura. Though he kinda looks like a "Fire Gomora" or something.
2) Eleking and Litra are back, too (even though we already knew about Eleking). Nice.
3) Mephilas and Tyrant look great. I'm guessing they'll be the big, important foes of the season.
4) An evil Reimon? Interesting.
5) Looks like Rei is holding a Power Morpher. :P
6) Red King is back, heh, no shocker there. And so is... King Jo Black? o_O

Thanks for the link Mr. Nagativity^^^^

I know everyone is going to hate me for this, but of all the returning characters, I'm most excited about Dada's comeback. Despite only appearing in one story, the zebra-colored, multiple face weirdos have always been among my top favorite Japanese monsters ever made. They're so ominously cool, with a great mix of their own unique powers and 1950s style sci-fi technology when facing foes in battle.

And yes, I'm well aware of the American remake versions from Powered, and the Gagi from Cosmos, but they lacked the impact of the original 1966 models.

*******

Also, since we will be revisiting a lot of aliens from the franchise, do you guys think that human / seijin relations have improved at all in this distant future timeline? Or is humanity still fighting off every race that they come in contact with and vice-versa?

Yeah, I know there WILL be alien bad guys (obvious from the posters), but it's still a worthwhile question that no one ever brings up in regards to the franchise. I was also going to bring up the overused cliche of human-look-a-likes as the only trustworthily aliens in the so-called 'Ultraverse', but after the Chamda / Slender Men from Ultraseven X, I don't know what to think.

Im watching some episodes and I'm definitelly convinced that suitamation still has much to offer, this makes me want to see Godzilla have this kind of treatment when he return from his hiatus, same for Gamera.

anyway, this series is made of Epic Gold!

I've seen more than one episode. Unless something drastic happened with episode 4, which I haven't watched, that is not at all the opening theme.

No, it's a new song. Not terrible, but I'm no serious fan of either theme.
