Looks like it'll be both the theatrical and extended editions in one release. Unfortunately, other than the commentary and U-Control it looks like it's going to be pretty bare bones. http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=2049

Let me know when the blu-ray version of the '33 original comes out and I'll buy that.

I saw the '05 version in a theater and I bought the DVD. It's not getting any more of my money.

i'm still glad i don't feel the urge to buy any of these, upgrades or not. quite happy with DVD, still. i mean, how much better is KING KONG gonna look? unless some tool suggests replacing all the models with cg stuff...

Only reason I might pick this up is for the extended version as I've yet to see it...

but I probably wont, it wasn't bad by any means but...

Am I the only one here who enjoyed the 05 Kong? Sure it's a little long but other than that it's a decent film.
