Finished the first two Sandman trade paperbacks by Neil Gaiman and read the final 2/3rds of Gaurds! Gaurds! by the newly named Sir Terry Pratchett.

BTW, if you are interested in Pratchett and Discworld, read Gaurds! Gaurds!. It's great.

Now reading Between Time and Timbuktu by Kurt Vonnegut.

Just finished "Misery"

still working my way through the works of King, albeit slowly (I go through phases when reading, initially i'd read two to three books a week, I've slowed down a LOT since then)

but yeah, I decided to undertake the quest to read every single one of King's books from Carrie through Just After Sunset, only reading the dark tower books out of sequence, saving them for the end...and I think I'll probably (hopefully) be done by June

Media Mythmakers: How Journalists, Activists and Advertisers Mislead Us by Benjamin Radford.

I'm also reading the 3rd volume of the collected Savage Sword of Conan comics. A buddy of mine also loaned me A. Lee Martinez's last two comedy/fantasy books but I've yet to check them out. I have high expectations after Gil's All-Fright Diner.

Just finished 'John Lennon: The Life' by Philip Norman. A fantastic, interesting ride from Beatlemania to that last evening at the Dakota. I always have been a big Beatles fan and this book highlighted not only that era well but his life afterwards in amazing detail.

Eric by Terry Pratchett.

Weird, these Discworld books seem to tie in thematically with whatever else I'm reading. I read the dragon-centric Gaurds! Gaurds! right before The Hobbit and now I'm reading the Faust parody Eric right after the Devil-centric Master and Margarita.

Finished Death from the Skies, subsequently finished Bonk - The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex by Mary Roach, and am currently reading Jesus, Interrupted by Bart D. Ehrman.

Does anyone else here a Shelfari account? I signed up for one a couple of weeks ago and, uh, turns out I have a lot of books.

On the comics side I have just finished Saga of the Swamp Thing, the first volume of Alan Moore's classic run on the character, and now have started on Concrete Volume 2: Depths by Paul Chadwick.

I forgot to mention Worlds of their Own by Robert Schadewald. I finished my Ehrman book yesterday and I'm about to start Dark Banquet - Blood and the Curious Lives of Blood-Feeding Creatures by Bill Schutt. I'm hoping it will sort of be a spiritual sequel to Zimmer's Parasite Rex.
