I'm pretty psyched about this. I hate getting sucked into CMGs and try to stay pretty disciplined about not being a completist for the sake of completism, but I may make an exception with this one. I've been playing games such as the "Monster Island" series and the old Bandai wargame using my own HG and other small kaiju candy figures for years, and MONSTERPOCALYPSE looks like a winner. These guys really look like they've captured the spirit of Godzilla and Ultraman for the game (damn shame they don't have a license to the real properties, but I'm sure there'd be no profit in it).

Kevin and Keith just posted some stuff over at on the game too.

Man, I can already tell that I'm gonna end up buying a ton of these and never find anyone to actually play with. Most of my buddies won't touch tabletop games, and the couple that will won't touch anything kaiju-related. :?
