10. Godzila vs. Anguirus in GRA.
It was animalistic, vicious and new. You could just sense the hatred these two had for each other and stopped at nothing to rid the other. Something, that really hasn't been captured to well since.

9. Godzilla vs. Ebirah.
I've always liked their fights in the film. It was entertaining and well executed. I still love the taunting Godzilla does with Ebirah's claw near the end.

8.Godzilla vs. Final Stage Biollante.
Looked amazing and was very nice to watch. You wondered if Godzilla would survive.

7. Godzilla vs. Baragon.
The sheer brutality of this fight was enough to excite me. I just love watching Baragon be swung around like nothing and then getting his face stepped on. Godzilla is such an ass.

6. Godzilla vs. Mothra (1963).
What an interesting fight. One you knew wasn't fair, but was pulled off real well. Mothra looked great and it's kind of emotional.

5. Both fight scenes with Gigan in Final Wars.
Despite how pathetic of short they were...they were pretty cool. Gigan was bad ass and I wish he was used correctly in the film. The Mothra battle was great. Gigan never looked so good.

4. Godzilla, Jet Jaguar vs Megalon and Gigan.
This is fun and that's all there is to it. It's a wrestling match and beyond entertaining. IT never falters or gets dull and that is what makes battle scenes amazing.

3. Mechagodzilla, Titanosaurus vs. Godzilla.
Despite wishing there were longer battle scenes...this was fun to watch. This film showed the evilness of Mechagodzilla, but not the power...

2. Gigan vs. Anguirus.
You could feel the pain Anguirus was experiencing with each cry from Gigan's poundings. This is an emotional battle and you see the spirit within Anguirus. Very well executed, in my opinion.

1. Godzilla, King Seesar vs. Mechagodzilla.
All I'm going to say is the scene when Mechagodzilla has his head turned around facing King Seesar behind him and ready to fire with his missiles on Godzilla in front. Best scene ever.

I will admit that, depsite the fact that Monster X/Kaizer Ghidorah is by far the LAMEST foe that Godzilla has ever faced, that was a really entertaining "final war" to watch. Kudos to Asada and Kitamura for that one.

Mothra vs. Godzilla - The first fight between Mothra and Godzilla ever to grace the silver screen, and it's a wonder to behold. Genius direction and magnificent special effects work.

Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster - Three giant monsters take on a three-headed monster in the greatest battle on Earth. A classic kaiju brawl if there ever was one.

Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster - Godzilla's first rumble with Ebirah. The shoreline setting is refreshingly unique, the fight choreography is a trip, and the beach-themed music totally sells it.

Destroy All Monsters - A triumph of practical effects execution. The sheer number of diverse kaiju involved makes this fight unique as it is, but the expertise of the choreography is what makes it memorable. It feels a bit fleeting, perhaps because it's so short in contrast to the amount of the film's runtime that's spent leading up to it at the end, but every second of what's there is pure classic.

Godzilla vs. Hedorah - The lengthy battle at Mt. Fuji. A sense of rivalry between Godzilla and Hedorah and is established early on and builds throughout the film, and it shows in full force when this final showdown begins. It's commendable that, in spite of its length, the fight never gets redundant or dragged out, as both of the monsters keep coming up with new, creative tactics throughout the whole thing. It's just plain fun to watch.

Godzilla vs. Gigan - The frequent interspersing of stock footage really hurts it, but at its core, the two-on-two battle that runs throughout the final third of this movie is still a classic monster mash. The monsters are portrayed with emotion and vitality, and that really helps make this fight a memorable one.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla - The final battle, which begins with King Seesar taking Mechagodzilla on alone but quickly sees Godzilla joining the fray. A good amount of physical brawling complements Mechagodzilla's all-out ranged weapons assault, leaving the fight with a satisfying sense of fulfillment.

Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah - The first fight of the film, which is also the first time in the series that Godzilla fought King Ghidorah one-on-one. (Kinda funny that it took until the Heisei era for this to happen.) Both monsters trade their projectile attacks just enough times, and they also rip, slam, tear and beat into each other. Definitely some creative direction here with regard for how the fight unfolds. This is a genuinely compelling monster battle, and it's a shame that none of the fights in subsequent Heisei films were ever done this well.

Godzilla 2000 - Godzilla's showdown with Orga in Tokyo. The sense of rivalry between the two is palpable, and both monsters are portrayed with a genuine sense of personality throughout the rumble. The US version makes it even better with superior, much more befitting music.

Godzilla x Mechagodzilla - The final battle between Godzilla and Kiryu. The fight choreography is creative and the music is riveting. It kicks off with an aura of fun and maintains all the way up to the final, climactic moment.
