Over at my blog, , I am spotlighting well-known and not-so-well-known monsters from Japanese television series and movies.

First, I spotlighted Ultra Monster from ULTRAMAN (1966).

Next, it was Doruge Demon from BAROM-1 (1972).

This week, it's Devilbeast from THUNDER MASK (1972).

Please check out my blog, for a new feature spotlighting monsters and mutants from the whole of tokusatsu! Over the last two months, I've been slammed with getting the INAZUMAN box set finished and running my horror film festival, SHOCK IT TO ME!, and fell behind... but now that those are out of the way, I am playing catch up with this feature. I just put up profiles for Aron from THE SPACE GIANTS and Shiomane King from KAMEN RIDER...

What a badass. Yeah so I hope that everyone reading/posting here is also following Auggy's blog. Perhaps some of you guys and girls who ONLY watch Godzilla movies will actually learn something and find the gateway to all the other cool things that Japanese fantasy and Sci-Fiction has to offer a Monster fan.
