Remember that Don LaFontaine wasn't the first "In a World . . . " guy, it was Hal Douglas, who's still alive. He's the older-sounding guy. (He also narrated the US trailers for Godzilla Vs. Megalon!)
Nevertheless, Don will sadly be missed.

That really is a shame. Most people with gifted voices are singers, but LaFontaine showed took his in a totally different direction and proved that he was just as gifted. R.I.P.
On a side note, LaFontaine narrated the US trailers for Godzilla 2000.
