That one guy on the other team was making it lag real bad, but I know what you mean. You shoot him and then it's like what? And then a second later he's dead.

But yeah, you were just perched on the roof the whole time, and the other team didn't really go up to the other one to do battle with you. Probably because the other guy on our team was camping from around the corner.

I have to say that the old maps can't hold a candle to the new ones. They're so much better. I hope you're able to get 12 extra bucks to buy them along with the unique characters and the extra mode. Maybe they'll lower the price with the next expansion comes out (which should be soon since the current expansion was released after a month).

Decent games tonight, Kain. Although there were too many people (it was all I could really find), and that one guy on your team was making the one match lag like crazy. No wonder why he had such a good score. You were really pissed at him, though :lol:

I have to say that I have grown to dislike Urban Ultimatum (the city map). All anyone does is camp in the tunnels, on the roofs, or around the corner near the man-cannon thing, and finally around the corners of the bases. It's just dumb. It was fun at first, and it isn't that bad when there's only 6 or 8 max, but anymore and people camp like crazy.

Kain, if you're still thinking of getting the map pack, you may want to wait... Rumors have started to come out about the maps in the new pack. There is said to be 3 and the selection sounds more interesting than what was in the Gene Expansion.

1) The first map is said to be a huge forest, sort of like something out of MGS3. My guess is that it would be something from that game, possibly the area that you fight The Fear or The End.

2) The next map is said to be a snow field where you will be able to track the enemy since they leave behind footprints. Sounds like my kind of map since I ALWAYS go for the night vision goggles to track people now. My guess is that it's the area where you fight Sniper Wolf from MGS1 and Crying Wolf in MGS4.

3) The last map is said to be a factory... but to the back set of a sun set. I was thinking Shadow Moses, but if it's an outdoor/indoor map then it may very well be... a recreation of an area from Metal Gear 1 or 2. That would be interesting.

Anyway, we should play some time. Even though the Socom beta is starting I still plan on playing MGO.
