Heres a real treat for you guys, on October 7th Sony Pictures Home Entertainment plans to release a three film gift set of the three previously re-released two-disc special editions of It Came From Beneath the Sea, 20 Million Miles to Earth, and Earth vs. The Flying Saucers. In addition to the three films included will be a figure of the Ymir which will be signed by Harryhausen himself. MSRP will be $80.95

That same day Sony also will be releasing The 7th Voyage of Sinbad: 50th Anniversary Edition with the following special features:

• Audio commentary by Harryhausen, visual FX experts Phil Tippett and Randall William Cook, author Steven Smith and producer Arnold Kunert
• Remembering THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD featurette
• The Harryhausen Legacy featurette
• The Music of Bernard Herrmann featurette
• A Look Behind the Voyage featurette (with interview footage)
• This is Dynamation featurette
• Ray Harryhausen Interview by Director John Landis featurette
• “Sinbad May Have Been Bad, But He’s Been Good To Meâ€

The good thing about the b/w, it truly looks great! And in "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers", it also restores Bernard Gorden's name in the credits (Gordon was blacklisted and had to use an alias - Raymond T. Marcus).
