lol...well, it's not any worse then the DAIMAJIN look.

I've always known there was comedy in the movie....BUT it's looking like they're going to add a little too much of it. THE HOST did it perfectly, but this film, I'm starting to feel, will just have TOO MUCH....like a lot of it will be stupid comedy or something.

IDK..maybe feeling like this will make the movie much better after I see it...

All you would have to see is ANY of Kawasaki's recent movies, like CALAMARI WRESTLER or THE TOUPEE DETECTIVE, to know that MONSTER X wouldn't be played straight -- even the announcement photos featured the comedians playing the Japanese politicians in exaggerated makeup, so what did you expect? No surprises here that the film would be the AIRPLANE! of kaiju movies.

You know, I think I've figured out my problem with Take-majin's design. It's not the design itself, per se, but it's the color scheme. It's... bland. There's far too much gold in it. With the exception of his crotch and the tiny jewels here and there, it's nothing but gold. I think he'd look a lot cooler if he was colored something like this:

I realize the effect's a little rough (I kinda did a rush job), but I think it gets my point across.
