That's pretty crappy of Abrams to just say "Oh yea, the monster died." What a dick. He kind of spoiled my imagination for the whole thing. Wow. Well in my mind, the monster is still alive. Too bad.

Bad news for those of you hoping for the sequel in the foreseeable future, JJ told comingsoon.net that he nor his crew has any interest in doing a sequel right now and would rather move on to other projects, which would explain him telling Rolling Stone that his monster is dead.

So unless Paramount goes the route in hiring another crew to make a sub par cash-in sequel, don't expect to see Clover or his mother anytime soon.
