It's all good. Brick and I had fun, especially the last two matches, which got really intense.

However, I got really pissed off at my partner Lightning Count during our first game. I'm off hiding about, waiting for Brick to come around, noticing that he was dying really fast by LC via SVD. It was then I realized what the little **** was doing (camp respawn kill) and tried to kill him, forgetting I turned off Friendly Fire. Thus, I switched teams, and told him in the next round not to do it again. He left shortly after that.

Other than that, I had a lot of fun and look forward to what else Konami brings next month, especially since I want some new maps.

That spawn camping really pissed me off. I have never seen such a blatant case of it before. He couldn't take me (he got me once I believe, which is when he started to spawn camp) so he goes and plops his ass where I respawn aiming his sniper rifle for my head the whole time. Then he goes and gets upset that you turned on him.

I was a bit disappointed tonight. We used tactics, but once we got to the Blood Bath map it was more run-and-gun. But part of the reason for that is that most of the other team was made up of newer guys that left themselves wide open for head shots. I was a bit off my game the whole time we played though. I had a headache and contemplated not playing at all, but it's the last night so I went ahead. That's okay though, i'll be ready in a month haha. I look forward to getting back to the slower style of play that I am more fond of.

By the way, Kain here really got into this niche with getting head shots when we played on Blood Bath. I was typing out a message to everyone and next thing I know he has like 4 head shots haha.

It was nice to see a good stream of people come into the game tonight. When some left, others joined within minutes.

And the beta is now officially done. One month can't come soon enough. That was one of the best games i've ever played online. Extremely fun to play.

http://metalgearsolid4.net/2008/05/13/t ... -mgs4.html

The intro to MGS 4 which is about 10 minutes. Nothing happens that we don't already know about, but it's certainly full of craziness.

By the way...

-POTENTIAL SPOILER (not confirmed to be true or untrue)-

I read that Raiden isn't exactly "human" anymore. Apparently he has cybernetic implants and the only thing left of him that's truly human is his spine and head? :o That is some messed up stuff if it's true. I read it on wikipedia, which apparently had the info contributed from the MGS4 character designer, so you never know.

I have plenty of space on my PS3, if I want to watch a movie on it rather than putting it on the PS3 I'll just stream it from the computer.

The install feature must be popular because MS is considering adding it into the Spring update for the 360 then again I heard there won't be a spring update so who knows.
