Is that a giant rocket, or is Goji just happy to see Rodan? :)

(Mostly just to fix the thread. I think we really need a new one of these.)

Here we go. Was just able to squeeze a little more juice out of the battery. I honestly have no clue where the charger went to.

The new Ganime is on the left in every photo but the first.

Something irked me about the claws when I compared the two figures side by side. I wanted to figure out why they spread out further on my older Ganime compared to the new one. Upon closer examination it appears that each pair of claws are different. The little details are different from toy to toy but you really wouldn't know it until your looking at both figures side by side. Unless my older Ganime is suffering from an insane amount of wear - which I doubt - the claws on the newer Ganime have a lot more little details such as a zigzag etching where the top and bottom claws meet. If these really are two different claw sculpts I have to wonder which figure version came first.

What do you think, Jean?

^^Rich, that wasn't one of the sets that was floating around on ebay for a while, was it? I've seen quite a few of those on there lately.

And man I really want one of those. But I should be getting something else pretty cool eventually.

Just got more older stuff pretty cheap. Nice Bandai ToyDream Project Raids Again set at the right price and one of the X Plus Daimajin Figures. Always wanted a Daimajin figure. This one seems like its the Sleeping or Pre Animated Version. He has a Stake in his Head. Is that how they Kill it or Put it to sleep? Only saw the first film once.

The March Village Gate Toy Show was last Sunday here in Rochester NY. I did not pick up anything new, but did find some things old.

Finally picked up the Rocket Pro Gyaos and a couple of old Gigan Knock offs. I always liked those. Super Cool!!!!!!!!!!

I finally found the 2 large Figures at my TRU. I saw the Shelf tag there for about a week, but no figures. The other day I went in and there was one of each. Thats all that could fit in the space they gave them. Next day I went in to get the Mecha Godzilla for my buddy who is into Giant Robots, and there was none at all, and the Shelf tag was no where to be found. I thought maybe there was a larger display of them on an end cap or something, but no. There was none at all in the whole store. No other Shelf tags, nothing.

Well I finally got one of my own today.

Image

This one is actually really sweet looking and is one of those figures that needs to be owned to be appreciated. I admit I like the teal one a little better but this Godzilla looks a lot more true-to-film.
