Well, I'm just stunned.

When I got my Box 5 replacement disc from Ark Square, Hajime included a note requesting that we send back the defective CD to Toho Music. I figured it was for accounting purposes, and Ark has been so good to me that I didn't even question it. Packaged it up with a note last Tuesday 3/4 and sent it back airmail, $3. Easy peasy.

Today I get a big DHL package from Toho Music Theater Library, with a thank you note and a brand new two CD set that sells for $30-$40 on Ark Square and Screen Archives!

You never get that kind of service or kindness from any manufacturer of anything I can think of here in the States! Just wow.

Damn I should have bought my set when it was first released so I could have sent my defective disc back.


I haven't even bought box 5 yet. I bought FSM's Superman boxed set instead.

BOX 2 just came in the mail(had to sign for it), from Arksquare. It was #693 so they still have quite a few left, unless they're not given them out in order.

I'm kind of annoyed BOX 1 didn't come first. Screen Archives is a little slow I guess..lol...hopefully it comes later today when the regular mail runs. It's definately the 1st and only time I'll order from them. Arksquare is cheaper...and when something arrives from Japan faster..plus I ordered BOX 2 from AS about 3 days after my order from SA....so yeah, I'm a little disappointed. Maybe it's not that bad...but AS is a lot better IMO.

Also, I wouldn't have gotten a tracking number if I didn't ask Hajime. I asked him nicely, and he didn't have any problems whatsoever given me the tracking number. He's a nice dude!!

Lets see....I ordered BOX 1 on the 10th from Screen Archives...they said they shipped in out the 14th, and said it's Priority Mail. I should have received it today. USPS says it's only 2 days from Wyoming to me using Priority Mail...I think I'm gonna go crazy if I have BOX 2 before BOX 1 for another day....hopefully it comes tomorrow.

btw, I listened to the Godzilla vs The Sea Monster soundtrack last night. Awesome sound, classic music!! I loved it, and it wasn't even a Ifukube score.

To Raptor: Actually, this is the wrong thread, this is the thread for the CD collections, not the new DVD ones. I'm not sure if those have their own thread. Although I do appreciate the info; The bonus disc has scenes from those films only?

To Legion: I don't own the Toshiba/Futurland releases, but from the comparisons I've seen, a hardcore fan would want the new boxes for the additional material and tracks. For more detailed info check here: http://www.godzillamonstermusic.com/godzilla50th.htm
