So for COD4 users on here, there's a map contest going on and the winners of the contest will have their maps uploaded on to the game. Well, I was poking around the Infinity Ward forums because I have been wondering when the hell the PS3 patch to fix things (supposively) will be released. I came across this supposive confirmation that following the conclusion of the map contest, IW will allow you to upload user-created maps to the game like Epic did with UT3 for PS3. I mention this in the PS3 thread only because based on what i've heard about UT3 on 360 and MS being against players uploading maps and mods with that game, I doubt they would allow this to happen with COD4.

In any case, we'll see if this comes to pass. It's a great idea started by Epic and should be continued with every game that has multiplayer and map creation tools. For me, with Rainbow Six Vegas 2 coming out in 2 weeks or so, I know that I won't be going back to COD4 too much; but uploading user-created maps would definitely keep me going back to COD4 from time-to-time.

I will probably end up getting it since it's so cheap. It'll be nice to have another mic (although my living room isn't that big and has surround sound, so i'll have to watch how I set it up if I talk with it) and those Eye games look like fun... although I can't find any of them on the PS Store anymore...

Home does look interesting.

If you plan on getting the Eye brick you might as well get the bundle that comes with Eye of Judgment its not to bad of a game. For $70 ($10 more than what you'd pay for a game) you get the PS3 Eye, the game and a deck and some booster cards.
