Seems Dragon Ball has been pushed back to April 3, 2009! Totally saw that coming since Star Wars was releasing the same weekend, the date had to change. And with the writer's strike ending, they don't really have to rush it now. Now they can do some re-writes, re-shoot some stuff, and take their time with the post production.

This can only be a good thing.

I'm really sad. It seems like they're pushing the action aspect of DB too much, something that didn't really take over till the Z years. I wish they'd just done it as an over the top martial arts/comedy. DragonBall is bizarre and that's what I love so much about it. Plus the first story arc (everything up til Oolong's wish for panties) would work wonderfully as a movie. Pilaf isn't a great villain but he's always been a favorite of mine for his initial role.
