Some parts of the movie were good. Some parts of the movie were bad.
Clovey (Bob/Whatever you want to call it) design was interesting. Although I'm going to go against the orga-zation thought and say that I think it looked more like across between the Crackler and Crustaceous Rex from the Tri-Star Godzilla Cartoon or a merging of the features of The Rancor, a spider, a Jerboa, a Dunkleosteus, and a squid.
What some have termed Scrotum ears I just thought of as something along the lines of a throat sack on a frog or somthing like those air sack things some Goldfish have below thier eyes.

Where exactly in the film are the stills from King Kong, Them, and the Beast of 20,000 Fathoms that is mentioned during the end credits.

The human characters were kinda stupid through out. They only seem to remeber key things when it is convient for the film like "Hey, Does this camera have Night Vision?"
The only real likeable one is the lady who gets infected and starts bleed from the eyes.
Hud was a jerk and unreal. I mean he's hitting on eye bleed during the monster attack.
Robert is stupid for having for going back to save his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him. I mean how many of us would risk out lives during a kaiju attack to go back for an ex-girlfriend who we know for a fact cheated on us? I wouldn't I'd consider it in some weird way that karma was getting her back for being unfaithful.

It also seems like the monster is actual following our main characters and actual goes out of it's way to try and kill them. Plus, how is it that they don't notice Clovey after the whole ordeal in the copter? Something that I'd think would be hard to notice.

What the heck is a white rat doing in the sewer?

Also, I've seen Blair Witch and the blending of BWP and Godzilla remarks I've read on different reviews are more or less right on the money.

Part of my view of this film is it's kinda of a post-911 fears Youtube generation version of what Big Bug movies were in 1950's. The whole film basically plays on fears of something big happening in modern society and ripping it a new one. And so we have a large whatsit standing in for anything running the gambit of both kinds of Terrorism to something in Gaia affect factor.
