Definitely agree with the general sentiment - a Clash of the Titans remake is not needed. Do a new adaptation of the myth sure, but don't do a remake to try and capitalize on the original's renown.
Speaking of Clash of the Titans - I picked up the DVD a little while back. I have seen the movie plenty of times growing up and expected my first time watching the DVD to be a nice trip down memory lane, imagine my surprise/shock when there were a couple additional scenes I had never ever seen before.
First, baby Perseus being breast-fed by Danae. Second, Danae and a young Perseus taking a walk along the beach, completely nude. And third, Andromeda rising from her bath shortly before she was to be sacrificed to the Kraken.
Were these scenes in the original theatrical release of the movie and someone used film elements with the scenes intact for the DVD or were the scenes cut from the film when it made it's way to TV [even cable channels]?.
