Thats something that always stuck to me in the back of my head as well.

I love Jet Jaguar, and I'm grateful that Bandai decided to make it.

But I'm wondering myself, Why him over some.. erm.. Well a Lame Brain Heisei Re-Issue? What gave Bandai the balls to do such a thing? Hedorah was kind of obvious seeing as how he got a weird surge in popularity.

Anyway. >_> Rather JJ than Varan.......

As it stands, just cause Bandai isn't making new figures, doesn't mean that no one else is. We've gotten pretty lucky these past few years. Titanosaurus? Showa MechaGodzilla? Hedorah (even if he is Puny....)? Nearly Every single Godzilla suit!? Jet Jaguar!? It can't be all bad. Perhaps a break from (Bandai) Godzilla is needed.

We wouldn't even be in this situation if the folks at Toho knew what they were doing to begin with.

As for M-1, MH, and Retro Style folks...

The party isn't over =D.

I agree that Bandai did a great job with its latest releases. The best thing was their price point which sadly puts the excellent but pricey CCP offerings out of reach for many. On the other hand, last time Bandai slowed down, Marmit began the retro Vinyl Paradise line. These were notably more expensive than Bandai figs but after a few years they can now be found for the original price or less. And they offered more G suit variations and more obscure kaiju than Bandai was doing.

I'm sure Bandai will some more figures. Perhaps not the rest of this year, but next year. I want a 6-inch GXMG figure.

There would have been some sort of news if there was something at the beginning of 2008, sure. But if they intended to release something later in the year, it would be too soon to hear anything.
