I just love how the first RE3 mission is all from the last area from Outbreak 2.

1 - Nope, no RE2 scenario. It's all OUTBREAK, as much as they want to make you believe it's RE3, it's not.

2 - You can level up your weapons at least 3 or 4 times, depending. I heard the shotgun is "upgradable" to a fifth, like in RE4, though I don't see that option anywhere.

3 - Those freakin' monkeys and Crimson Heads aren't a problem; it's the dam leeches and snakes!!!

4 - At the mansion, ALWAYS look for background objects you can shoot down - I know the magnum is somewhere in the hunter room(I've been told "according to the Prima guide") and the rocket launcher is supposed to be hidden in one of the lockers before the Tyrant fight. I've tried....no dice. :?

5 - Nemesis is HARD. I'm gad I fought him though because I feel like I accomplished something I've always wanted to do: go one-on-one with him. It also helped that I had the grenade launcher handy...otherwise, he'd be a pain. Gravedigger was easy for me, but only because I saved the shotgun and a grenade launcher acid ver. for it only. THAT's freakin' hard, esp. with the zombies in the street before it, the drain deimos, and the freakin Hunter gamma.

Hope that report helped...someone. :P

I took out Yawn with the shotgun....Leech Queen could've been more....epic, but I have no idea why they decided to restrict the boss battles.....However, I gotta admit, Yawn and Grave Digger felt pretty tense, since you're constantly on the move, and when you're not, you have to watch out for the button-mashers....

They could've taken a hint from Namco here though, since they handle lightgun boss battles very well...see Time Crisis 3, 4 and Crisis Zone for good examples. They make the battles move fluidly from one place to the other without confining you to one spot. Leech Queen's battle suffered from it. To me, anyway, it seems they didn't "feel it" during the creation of the RE0 levels(the train's fun, though, and so is the facility at times). The mansion, Outbreak, and Wesker's Umbrella romp look to be the most interesting.

The big worm you fight near the middle of the RE3 scenario.

You know another boss that comes to mind? The bat in the RE0 scenario. Felt like HotD2 all over again....:P

BTW, how many Critical Hits have you guys managed to pull off?

Near the end of the Outbreak scenario, I freakin' pulled off a 5 hit chain with the handgun...:P I still died, like 15 times, though. No herbs, no sub weapon, and a $#!tload of zombies......I also managed to pull it off against the Hunter horde at the end of that scenario...though on the third one, I kinda....died...badly....:?

ahhhh, good times. :P

I'm lovin' this game the more I play it. :D

Yep. Once you reach RPD, he meets you halfway, then at missions' end in his Tyrant form. I've heard you fight him again in another mission. Of course, the only missions I've unlocked so far are Wesker's, and the only big boss I've found so far is Lisa Trevor.

I DO hope there's more to it than just these missions.....

BTW, I encountered a "Prototyrant" during the Wesker scenario, and some dude in a white lab coat....I was half-asleep, but I put him away with my assault shotgun in 5 mins....who was that guy?

Yeah, get that. I managed to beat Nightmare 1 with straight A's thanks to GameFAQS and some planning....'cause I surely wasn't going to spend the dough to buy one lousy guide that'd rot in my library anyway.

I dunno, maybe it was me, but I enjoyed the Nemesis fight, maybe because it was my reason for wanting the game. When I finally beat him and he lets out his final "STARS!!!" growl as he dies, that was like....I dunno, like I just became alpha male or something. :P It was awesome.....

Then came Wesker's scenario with the tyrant docs....dam, did I get my ass handed to me.

Those Hunters CAN be evaded, but you need to store some Assult Shotgun shells, which means risking your neck out durng the initial zombie attacks and the first hunter encounters. It takes time and patience, but I guarantee that after a few tries, you'll see their attack pattern. Once those first few are out of the way, the hunters in the hallway'll be a sinch with the shotgun.

Just try and stock up on herbs and spray.

As for the files, I found them by....well....shooting like crazy. :P You'll learn to be paranoid when it comes to shooting background objects....certain cabinets, like the ones in the STARS office and the RPD office have the majority of them, and I think at least one or two are in a hallway....I forget which one.

Ima take a break from this game though, because now I want to focus my attention onseeing whether the rumor that Leon and Clare are unlockable in the Outbreak scenario are true, and that Mr. X replaces Nemesis there.....THough how I'm gonna get straight S's is beyond me.

Oh....that one. Yah, that's ones a nasty one. I find it easier to anticipate it and shoot it out of the sky with the handgun, then let loose with two or three shotgun rounds.

You have to be quick though....maybe it's just me, but that's how I took it out.
