I will bet good money that Classic Media releases Godzilla's Revenge and Terror of Mechagodzilla as singles within the first third of 2008, even if only through their website.

Between this thread and , it almost seems like the sky is falling for the majority of the online fandom. I think it's funny.

Picked up the box set and skimmed through All Monsters Attack and Terror of Mechagodzilla. Both versions of AMA appear to be 2.35:1 aspect ratio (looks like they used the same print used by Simitar for their old release). As for the differing aspect ratios of the Japanese and American versions of ToMG that befuddled everyone, I shall clarify. Naturally the Japanese version is in its original 2.35:1 ratio, but the American-made prelude is 16x9 while the rest of the movie merely uses the 2.35:1 Japanese print synchronized to the English dub audio track. And yes, the scene where Katsura Mafune's fake plastic breasts are exposed during her operation is left intact in the Japanese version while appropriately trimmed in the English version to synch with the sound. Unfortunately there's something that will annoy fans and consumers about these two discs. Although it is advertised on the packaging, neither discs contain the original Japanese trailers for their respective movies.

Look at the bright side of things. If you are not going to buy the box set, the money you are holding for the final discs (unavailable as singles for the forseeable future) can be used to buy Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters.

See? Everything happens for a reason! :D
