I guess you didn't read the article Keith posted a couple pages back then? It makes perfect sense. If the box comes out for the holiday season, they will probably sell more of those and make more money from that than they would having 2 more movies just sitting there. The term "shelf space" isn't really meant to be taken so literally. A lot more goes into it than just the actual space the discs take up.[/quote]

With all due respect to Keith, I do understand and appreciate his explanation of events unfolding with these discs BUT that does not make it right. CM's built in customer base is being baited to buy an entire box set just to see/own two movies out of it and see/own discs they already have. Excuse me but that's just plain wrong. He is trying to explain market/retail conditions to me that I am not unfamiliar with and that's why I DO understand exactly what's going on here and why I know it is wrong. Am I wrong for complaining about it? I have one thing to say to that. In business, the customer is always right.

But you don't HAVE to buy the box set if you want the two movies. You just have to wait a few months.
I just don't understand. Is it that if you don't get the dvd when it first comes out you don't want it at all? Are you guys afraid your peers will see the dvds before you and you won't be cool anymore?
In that sense it just seems fair, those of us who have been waiting for the box set having been able to see any of the dvds yet all year, but now we get to see two of them first.
