I guess I'm glad they are going to release the 5th set. After the disappointment with box 4 I kinda lost interest. I really dont care for Hattori's music for the 2 films he scored, although Spacegodzilla has cues that resemble John Barry's You Only Live Twice. The bonus discs have been disappointing.

The bad thing is I sold all my Godzilla Futureland discs except for the double sets of G vs Mothra, G vs Mechagodzilla and G vs Destroyer.

I'll probably end up getting them for completion sake, the boxes do look nice sitting on my CD shelf. :wink:

Well, I ordered mine, though I'm not sure there's anything here that I want/need. Damn being a completist on some things!

I can't believe that, after all these years, they still haven't sold out of the original sets. It's almost sad that they couldn't find 2000 people worldwide to buy an entire release. No wonder it's been so slow to come out.

I'm listening to Ifukube's right now. Had it for years, never opened it until last night. Not quite as perfect as when the maestro himself is wielding the baton (this is Dmitry Yablonsky and the Russian Symphony Orchestra), but still a great chance to listen to some of Ifukube's non-film music. Oh, all right, if you must, it includes a pretty great rendition of "Symphonic Fantasia No. 1" as well. :wink:
