Just my 2 cents . . .
Some people have wildly panicked and misinterpreted this as the end of Tsuburaya Productions (even go as far as to say that their fight with Chaiyo Productions has "taken its toll" on them), but the poseurs barely even check their facts anyway, they just have some really bad fan-wishes. Same crap that plagues all fantasy fandom, from Godzilla to Gamera to superheroes. ("They should make Ultraman darker and more adult, and keep it that way. No more stupid kiddie shows!")
I have mixed feelings about this news, but the least I am hoping for is that the Tsuburaya family is still involved, and they are (Kazuo Tsuburaya is a board member). It's only fitting that Ultraman Moebius is the last 100% Tsuburaya production (correct me if I'm wrong), but as long as Tsuburaya doesn't lose its soul (as Toei has, and to an extent, Toho), then I will continue to have faith in them.
