Sounds exciting! I knew there was something weird going on with the Giant Monster Battle video game!

This'll be the first Japanese TV series in years to focus on giant monsters alone (rather than superheroes). I'm pretty excited!

The only thing that could possibly top this is a guest appearance by Godzilla. (Highly unlikely, but it's fun to imagine.)

May the Ultra Monsters subline and game series have a long a prosperous future. :D

I knew something live action was coming due to this, as well as the mysterious and non-game "Raymon" or whatever figure, following the Ultra design faintly... didn't realize it'd be a full series.

If what we end up getting is an alternation between dark and serious and lighter family fun, between Ultraseven X and this, that would be interesting.

Is it just me or did they actually build new Eleking and Gomora suits?! :o

Also, Reimon actually looks pretty cool now that we can see the suit... perhaps he's another Ultra in disguise...?

Of course it's not. No hand claws, the head is more traditional in style, and the antennae look a bit different. Tsuburaya reuses suits in the present the same way they would in the past. That's why I suggested it was modified. Like Golgolem becoming Gromite in Mebius. Of course, that doesn't mean it was exactly what happened, it was just a suggestion I considered.
