New CCP Meltdown Gozilla with light up action coming soon. Also a regular paint version, and Gamera 96, and yet more Hedorah's. The dark Hedorah will not have light up eyes, but the red eyed version will. There's also a green version of Gamera, which is more expensive.

I'm a huge Heisei Godzilla fan - and I mean that, I'll tell you the '89 Godzilla is my favorite Godzilla design - but I'm not digging the shots on these two.

The head looks more like the '84 design - not that there's anything wrong with that, I love the '84 Godzilla suit - but this toy just doesn't do it for me. Maybe I'll buy it and put a bag over it's head :shock:

because the body looks pretty great.

Hey Legion, about the tails - how about a really poor self-aware trademark? :wink:

Actually, in the Meltdown pictures, the tail looks like it can contact the ground if you lean the figure back at the leg pivots.

Not that it matters much to me, because even if I plan to get them now, in the end I know I won't anyway because I have too much to go with yet for Bandai.

I can see why some people aren't thrilled with the face, as from some angles it looks a little odd. But having seen more images, i think it actually looks pretty good. Although, to me, it looks more like the '89 water suit head (the one with the ridge-forehead) than the '95 head...

I really have no urge to get the regular hesei Godzilla. But that Burning Godzilla looks amazingly cool. There goes another hundred dollars or so.

Well apparentlly they're scizzors. I had my wifey look at it, and accoridng to Shiaz we may actually get that as an actual figure.

It's called Armor Gigan.
It's armed with a thunder blasting set of Goggles
Power scizzors
Heat needles on shoulders
Cutting claws
Reflective armor
Protective covering over the legs....
and The rotary gattling gun that fires a type of armor piercing round.

Mike already mentioned that - "the Godzilla Island MG/Jet Jaguar set." And all three of those figures were repaints of existing molds, not entirely new ones.

On the other hand, Hyper Hobby has released Bandai remolds and entirely unique molds never seen anywhere else. Just not Godzilla ones. Magma Seijin Brother Red (with new arm), Sran Seijin (all-new mold) and Salamandora (all-new mold) haven't been released elsewhere. Toys Dream Project doesn't create anything, just releases limited-edition variations of stuff, and not just Bandai toys either.

But back to the first hand, haha, that doesn't prove Super Gigan will be released. Have there been solicitations from Bandai on a new Gigan toy? Not yet. Are there any Japanese stores offering a pre-order for him? No. Is there anything besides the mockup in that magazine to even mention that Gigan? No. "Because Shiaz said so" is not proof, not when he probably just misinterpreted something. They've done it at UltramanLah! before.

Marmit just announced new 20" tall giant-sized Hedorahs. They will be exclusives through Hyper Hobby magazine (the figure in the middle is the earlier 13" giant Hedorah).

I don't have any info on prices. Order deadline appears to be 8/31.
