so it sounds to me that you didn't get a bronze Angilas and you got two regular Angilas? Was your case taped close or was it opened? That would be weird if you got two painted Angilas and no bronze version in a case and since you don't know what's in a box, it would make it hard for the dealer to to switch out a bronze with a regular figure, unless he opened each of the boxes and resealed them. I can tell you there are no Chase figures and I would think that the bronze versions were the chase figures. What a mystery :?

Sorry about the quality of the photos. The light reflects off the plastic too much to get a clear view of it but you can kinda see the difference in color between them and the different numbering. I thought at first the two 55's alternates were both supposed to be in greyscale (kind of like how there was the clear orange Ghidorah in the last set while the other 3 were bronze) until I saw that the Angilas was bronze. I remember seeing that some other bagged chase figures have an "S" printed on the bags and figured it must be a special of some sort. I tried to see if there was anything online about them and found nothing until now.

Hey Jean, I like your top 20 picks but there are a few should be pushed up and others down. Surprised not even 1 Godzilla fig made it into the top 20. hahaha jk

I agree, When it came to writing up the comments towards each one, I wanted the figures that made the most impression on the top. Like some might say the 2002 Bandai Baragon is a better scuplt than the Original Baragon which might be true, yet the title says "Greatest" and when you compare the demand the original Baragon had in the late 90' early 2000, that puts the original version at a higher level than the 2002 has yet to reach. That's how I look at it. But if you collectors want to send me your Top 20 or Top 5 lists with comments , I'll be glad to put another page just for other collectors opinions.

I've also been getting the impression that collectors expected to see Godzilla Bandai figures on this list. I did a Top 20 Godzilla figure list already. The focus this time was on the other Toho Monsters. Besides, how could I compare another Monster with Godzilla?

I'm pretty excited about what will be going on at this years G-Fest. Club Tokyo and Vinylmaddness will be collaborating on listing the "Top 100 Greatest Godzilla Toys" at the show where the top collectors in the hobby will join us to help create this incredible list. There's been a deep discussion of this on my message board and I'd like to ask those collectors that are going to G-Fest and are knowledgable in the hobby, if you would like to be a part of this great gathering and help suggest what should be the Top 100 Greatest Godzilla Toys, PM me, e-mail me, or even post here and we'll see if you can be a part of this.

Well I misread this at first and thought it'd be a panel. Regardless, I'm glad I'm renewing my subscription to G-fan, because stuff like this is just neat. I mean, I've only been collecting since 03', and I find any information about the toys to be interesting. I can't wait until you guys finish this.

I picked up a Bootleg version of the Bandai Godzilla 62. When I first saw it, I had trouble telling if it was the original version or a bootleg? There just seem like something was off when I kept looking at it. I updated the Bandai Standard Figures page with pictures including comparisions with the original Bandai figure and info.

I've been back from G-Fest for a few days now and I can't believe how fast it came and went. I plan to have a G-Fest 14 page up, but for now you can go to the "Newest" section and check out what toys I brought home. I put descriptions of each item on my "Update" page as well.
