I actually think it looks pretty cool. It isn't Batman & Robin style over-foolishness, it looks like futuristic body armor.

... without the cape and cowl it looks like something they'd wear in a Ghost in the Shell live action movie.

Dave,I'm pretty sure that all the "panel lines" on that suit are bare fabric,so I think it does have a lot of give to it when he puts it on. Of course,I don't really love the armor plating myself. The best batsuit IMO is the one from that fan film where he fights the Alien and Predator.
