The real thing, I may be shot when I say this, is to revive the series via anime. I kid you not. Why are most of the Godzilla films blasted? Because of spfx and "bad acting". Eliminate actors and do an anime, thus you can do anything you want without worrying about spfx. Anime is where it's at, because look most of the Japanese and American youth of today love anime. Look at Gundam or Neon Genesis.
If you did a Godzilla anime you could get away with more and make it cool again for the other people of the world. That's my idea, and that's maybe the way I see it since I'm young and I am an ordinary white American young guy and my wife is a young Japanese woman and both of us agree that That would be the best way to revive it so that both cultures would enjoy it.
