Thanks, Armand. Walshbeme, I have been pre-occupied with writing the first official and authorized biography on Eiji Tsuburaya -- with the full cooperation and consent of Toho, Tsuburaya Productions and the Tsuburaya Family -- which is being published by Chronicle Books as a photo-crammed, hardcover, coffee table tome, which will be out just in time for Christmas.
This project also overlapped with an extensive (and intensive) writing job for my third project with Honolulu-based -- a Complete Series DVD box set for Toei's 1973 tokusatsu teleseries KIKAIDA 01 (I previously worked on their releases of KIKAIDA and KAMEN RIDER V3). I was responsible for most of the copy in the set, including 600-word Behind-the-Scenes Factoids for each of the series 46 episodes -- needless to say that was a lot of work! Go to for all of the details.
While I was wrapping up work on KIKAIDA 01, I was hired by another DVD label to work on some upcoming series' box sets. So, I've been way too busy to devote any time to Henshin! Online (which never went in the direction I wanted it to, which was supposed to be a massive, interactive database -- not a news feed). By the end of the year, there will be a radical change of direction in the site, and a complete transformation.
As for my upcoming book, EIJI TSUBURAYA: MASTER OF MONSTERS, you can check out all of the details over at the "Godzilla In Print" section of MZ.
Thanks for asking!
