Wait, wait, wait.... I'm losing track of my conspiracy theories. Is Keith in the pockets of Classic Media, or in the pockets of Media Blasters??? I know he's said to be The One True Evil Puppet Master behind all things related to tokusatsu releases on DVD, but he couldn't possibly be on the payroll of both companies, playing them off against one another... or could he?!?!? :shock: Perhaps Keith is the reason that Anchor Bay has yet to release G85... damn you, Keith. Damn you.

That's the thing that really concerns me in all this. Why, exactly, can they not make new transfers of the film used for the MonstersHD masters? Is it a money issue? Are the film materials simply gone? Will Toho not approve it? I wish we could get an answer, so we can put this speculation to rest.

For those wanting to get their hands on 'Frankenstein Conquers The World' before 6/26, Media Blasters' Rare Flix is currently selling it on their eBay store. I just received mine today and it is pretty damn cool. It is one of my top five kaiju films.
