I'm at peace with whatever happens, but out of curiosity: On the new Ghidorah DVD, does the US version have the Continental/Reade-Serling/whatever logo at the beginning? (It's been perhaps 25 years since I saw that as a kid.)

I always assumed that one of the larva stayed on Infant Island to watch over the islanders, this being the Mothra seen in Ghidorah, and that it later pupated into an adult Mothra, as seen in Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster. The other larva I figured just went out on its own and remained a larva, and that this was the one that was captured and seen on Monster Island in Destroy All Monsters.

All due respect to Mr Goodman's opinion, but I think these releases are much better than he does. I bought GTTHM and rented IOAM at a local store that's naughty with street dates. And I'm in much agreement with DVD Drive-In. Ghidorah looks decent but not wonderful, with some damage to the print. But I'd rate it fairly close in quality to Classic Media's Mothra Against Godzilla disc, maybe dipping a little below. Sometimes it looks damn good, sometimes it's kinda dull or subdued in color. Astro-Monster/Monster Zero, on the other hand, looks wonderful. Very sharp and colorful, giving a lot of detail for those who want to study kaiju suits, model buildings, or Kumi. I plan to pick up a copy of Monster Zero soon.

Any one know if Wal-Marts getting these? Mine had G vs. M and GRA. I can't wait for monster Zero. It is one of my favorite G films.
