"On July 31, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will re-release the Ray Harryhausen monster movie classic 20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH as a 2-disc 50th Anniversary special edition. The disc will contain full frame (1.33:1) and anamorphic (1.85:1) versions of the film, as well as a newly-colorized edition. Extras include a commentary with legendary special effects master Ray Harryhausen and a video interview with Harryhausen, conducted by director Tim Burton. The suggested retail price for the DVD will be $24.96."
Colorized? Pshaw. At least it contains the real version, but the colorized version will be wasting space on the disc that could be used for other 1337 extras and what not. Regardless, I will be double-dipping on this as it's the best of Harryhausen's "monsters on the loose" stage, and because I'm a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" for special editions.
