There seems to be something going on back at Disney headquarters, according to various forums I frequent:

There's this rumor going around that Power Rangers is getting a cartoon. Pics have been around the 'net for a while, I'll post 'em when I get a chance, but it seems this "series" is going to be a "tribute" to MMPR.

The reason I bring it up here is that....it might air after OO airs, which conflicts with GekiRanger/PR:Beast Fist's arrival on US shores....might.

should I just make a new thread on it?


Anyway - Geki's gonna take a week-long break, it seems.....so no Elehan, Bat Li goodness for a while...

Episode 11 was fantastic! Lots of screentime for Ran to be amazingly cute, Elehan up to his perverted tricks again and DAMN is Mele awesome at being a sexy, evil badass! Definitely some major girl-power in this episode and I'm certainly not complaining!

GekiElephant and GekiElephantTohja's debuts were a lot better than I expected. I wasn't very keen on the Elephant at all when those scans were first posted but the little guy certainly proved his worth in this episode. Lots of fun!

Oh! And the Sky Kenma was released! There's gonna be some serious Shh! going down from here on out, I'll bet. Rio trying to break the barrier and Shafu sensing it each time was just another example of those little things in this show that scream "EPIC!" Can't wait to see him training under the Kenma next episode! Looks like it's gonna be pretty intense... Ah, and the mecha battle at sunset's gonna be freaking awesome, I can feel it!

Wow. I love this show so much!

And on a side note,



EDIT: It'd be fun if, rather than new GekiRangers, we got another group who were technically good guys but rivals to our current team. Y'know, trying to take out the bad guys first and then gloating about it.

Yep - looks awesome from the looks of it!!! The Bird Bros. arent' too bad either - seems they're gonna tear Jan a new one unless Retsu masters the Fan!

BTW, posted the actresses joing the Gekis on their movie adventure....Seems it's gonna be a full-fledged martial arts movie!

BTW, Ep 15 holds great promise....and it's getting painfully obvious that the bird bros. are gonna turn on Rio and Mele somewhere down the road.....

I think I'll like the Super Gekirangers but I'm not sure about GekiViolet yet. One one hand it looks kinda cool and on the other some of the patterns just don't appeal to me. And the wolf is cool but I think I would've preferred another big cat... >>

Why do Rio and Mele have to join up with them? Sole glimmer of hope: Their mechs are called RinBeasts, implying that they're still evil. Maybe it's only a temporary alliance against a greater enemy, a la Sonic and Robotnik in a few of the Archie Comics...

I think that other figure next to Kata and Rageku is just a footsoldier in shadow. THe design's too simple for a Kenma or RinRinshi.

Interesting stuff about Gekiviolet. I like all of that except the bits about Rio and Mele potentially joining with the GekiRangers. WHY?! >< Though I heard the mecha combination they take part in only occurs in the movie, against a greater enemy. That'd make sense, since they're mechs are RinBeasts instead of GekiBeasts.
