I wish you'd included a picture of all three alongside each other (cue extra pic in 3, 2, 1...) - Hedorah looks enormous next to the Bandai, but it's not much of a comparison since I own neither. At least I've got a better idea on the sizes of the other two - didn't expect Pilot Ace's Gigan to be a head taller than the MH! I'm thinking a repaint of Gigan is sure to come down the line later, since Ghidorah just got a more accurate portrayal, but as I said before, I'll be waiting for the Gigabrain first.

Giganzilla, here ya go...

While the Pilot Ace figures aren't perfect, you've got to admire how well they try to scale these figures. Also worth noting is that the Godzilla alone is almost 10 inches tall.

As far as the Gigan getting a better paint job...it's possible, but I don't see Pilot Ace using a mask to properly color the greens and golds of the body the way the Marmit figure did. They may pick a better color scheme but I doubt it'll compare to the Marmit or the Gigabrain.

Just uploaded a bunch of new pics of my new stuff from March & April. I didn't include my SIC Garo Kamen Rider stuff but I did post some Ultraman figs.

Here are some cool ones that I've made them battle w/ my older figs hahaha
To save on my site's bandwith, I've posted the thumbnails only. For the full sized images, please see them on my site:

Sorry if the pictures are a little dark, but the Pilot Ace figures are on the left and the Gigabrain toys are on the right...

While I like the overall look of the Pilot Ace figures you can definitely tell they are several steps back in design compared to the Marmit and Gigabrain stuff. The back fins especially, are just a molded chunk of vinyl and not the intricate seperate pieces Marmit has been doing for years now. And I also don't like that odd spot on the necks that need to be curved in a little deeper.

The Gigabrain figures are all-around better sculpts, and are more in proportion to a Bandai toy, with not as many toy like features as other companies. I also like how the back fins on the Gigabrain figures are only a single seperate strip. Seems to flow better and looks more natural.

While I look forward to seeing what both companies have to offer, I'm more curious about what Gigabrain has up their sleeves. Their Gigan looks to be a doozy.

While it's not as hot as that recent Doom Island pickup I just heard about () I'd say this was a pretty cool batch to come home to!
Just picked up 4 packages from the post office this morning. First one, the Moore Creations Godzilla Snowglobe! A lot bigger than I had anticipated and the first snowglobe that I actually like!

Next one was another figure I had been wanteing for a while. I really was happy that i finally picked it off of ebay, but not too excited since I never really cared for much of the overall look. That changed today when I opened up the Horizon Godzilla. Kinda that, yeah he's an ugly child, but he's my ugly child sorta thing, lol!

The X-Plus 1995 Gyaos came in as well. Not looking forward to putting him together, but we'll see :D

Ah! Here's a fun one! I've had a lot of mixed feelings about the X-Plus statues. They kinda look off-mark and have horrifying prices! Plus that Mothra really made me angry when I saw the wings starting to sag. But this figure has always been on my priority list, and while the stumpy-ness is a turn-off, I still think he's cool! The 1989 X-Plus Godzilla!
By the way, seeing him hold that piece of Biollante just makes be yern for a large scale Bio fig!

Damn, Dagarah72, I love those new Bandai Ultraman SDs, was eyeing up the Ultraman set a few months ago, but it sold out - luckily, it's getting a re-release. I'm not all hot and bothered by Ultraseven, but I think I'd really like to track down those Jack kaiju as well. Thanks for the closeups, didn't expect to like jellyfish-head over Kingsaurus!

Reunited, and it feels so good... Despite the fact that the damn thing arrived as early as MAY SEVENTH, we'd never received a notice from the mail, and seeing as this has happened twice before, I made sure to check with the post while buying a box. Sure enough, there was GiganGoji's package.

Seeing as I was not only familiar with the chogokin Gigan mold but that this specific Death Trigger was my own figure, there were no surprises going in about him. Gigan currently stands in the normal, clawed mode alongside my Chrome Gigan in revived/chainsaws-of-doom mode, and it, well, feels so good.

Reunited 'cause we understood...
There's one perfect fit, and sugar, this one is it.
We both are so excited, 'cause we're reunited....

Pardon my sentimental side. *cough* There were two things I did note. One, the box seemed a bit more beat up than when I last had it, but I expected it wouldn't remain pristine. Two, there was... something... attached. :X Suffice to say, it does confirm my previous belief - GG, you gross, man.

Bandai's Jet Jaguar was in there too. I didn't pull out Megaro-Goji or Showa Gigan to compare, but standing next to my 6" FW Gigan, all is perfect. Definitely a must-have figure for Bandai collectors, and I never would have been satisfied with the original as I would with this one. Metallic paint FTW.

Two items today!

First is a Toy Vault large Godzilla plush - no sound. Please look to help me with a little issue on it if you please.

Secondly is the Toy's Dream Burning Godzilla! Got it for only $35, too! Cheapest I've seen in a while. Looks exactly like the original 8" Forever version which is pretty damn cool if ya ask me.

I've been wanting the glow Sunguts Caveman for a while now. With a little help from a friend I was able to get both the normal paint and the GID versions:
Image

Also got in the Purple & Black version of the Gigabrain Godzilla 62. It's supposedly limited to 30 pieces, and I only saw about 4 or 5 go up on YJ.
I like this sculpt a lot, and think this color scheme is pretty cool:

Hesei, I don't know if you have the 50th anniversary roaring G Plush, but that newer one in your photo(with the mismatched tag) almost looks like it uses the sewing pattern of the roaring Plush, especially the teeth and face, while using the fabric of the original Godzilla plush. Maybe they made a bunch of errors and decided to sell them anyway with the wrong tag rather than have to toss them. Check out the description on this auction, and this isn't the only place I saw this mentioned:
