Looks "Funking" Hilarious :)

(Shaun of the Dead fans should get the reference)

I've heard nick Frost will reprise his role of Commander Mike Henderson for a second season of Hyperdrive.

If this is true, I'm hoping for an improvement in.. well, everything except the Digital effects. (Those were fine for such a show)

I thought the show had a lot of Potential but was sadly not reaching for it with much enthusiasm.
IMO Episodes 4-6 were an improvement but Too Little Too Late.

Still, More fun to watch than Desperate Housewives.

I haven't managed to catch more than a few minutes total of Spaced.
Keep trying, though.

Shaun of the Dead was an amazing film. Everyone goes in expecting "zombie parody," only to find that, besides being extremely funny, it's actually a better zombie film then.... well I think it my be the best zombie film I've seen, and it's a heartwarming movie to boot!

So, yeah, I'm seeing Hot Fuzz this weekend.

THIS MOVIE KICKS SERIOUS ARSE! Incredibly hilarious -- another winner! Sorry, I had to shout it out! The preview for a Ping Pong martial arts movie with Christopher Walken, looks amazing! AIYEEEE! (They also ran the trailer for another Simon Peg film, RUN, FAT BOY, RUN which looks funny as well, except that it is directed by David Schwimmer... yuck.)

Three reviews for the film on DVD Talk, two of which give it a Highly Recommended rating, and one giving it DVD Talk Collector's Series.

Well, I -finally- saw both Borat and Hot Fuzz earlier this morning, and they both completely lived up to the hype. Borat was great, but Hot Fuzz was just pure gold. It does for buddy cop movies what Shaun of the Dead did for zombie movies, and the results are just as brilliant as its predecessor's. Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost make the perfect creative team, and I for one hope they decide to tackle every major sub-genre of cinema with a satire-tribute film like this. I love it.

For those of you who haven't bought Hot Fuzz yet, wait a little longer. Universal will be releasing a 3-disc collector's edition R1 DVD in North America on November 27th, featuring all of the special features from the original R1 DVD, the 2-disc UK R2 DVD, the North American HD-DVD, and then some! Check out for a full rundown of everything included on the upcoming collector's set. Hopefully its release will coincide with Deep Discount's 20% off sale, but if it's too late then you can still buy it from for just $26.19 (with a fixed price guarantee on pre-orders).
